Some of the committee members of the Stairway to Heaven Memorial Trust, including patron, Tommy Walsh, who is a very active member of the committee and who has attended every memorial service since the project started.

Dr. Joan Martin MBE who was the doctor on duty at the Children's hospital in Hackney Road on the night of the disaster tending to the adults and children from the station crush. She attended the memorial service this year, as she has done very year. She was 101 years old last November.
